Presenting Cristine & John Alilovich
Cristine & John's ceremony took place on the afternoon of September 15, 2001 on a bluff overlooking the ocean.
The Ceremony The altar was a single line of sea shells that the bride had collected as a child with the hopes of someday getting married overlooking the ocean. The Reception The reception was held in Stillwater Cove Ranch approximately 10 miles North of Jenner California. The location provided a simple, rustic atmosphere that was a beautiful backdrop for our photographs. A Special Note from the Alilovich's "Cheri Lynn's photogaphy is truly a work of art. She is able to capture the very instant you are glowing and expressing your true self. I do not consider myself to be terribly photogenic, which is why choosing the perfect photographer for my wedding day was so important - as it is for every bride. I cannot convey in words how grateful I am to Cheri Lynn for capturing one of the most joyous days in my life so spectacularly. These images of myself, my husband and my stepson celebrating together as a family are priceless. It is important to note that my wedding was on September 15th of 2001; needless to say, a few last minute changes needed to be made to our celebration due to the events of the 11th. My flowers were different than we had planned, 2 of my bridesmaids were not able to attend, and my father and brother traveling from the East Coast were not sure they were going to make the wedding. I remained calm and confident, however my father was not there in time to walk me down the aisle. But there is a happy ending! My dad and brother were going to make it but not until 7:30 - I begged Cheri to stay past our agreed upon time and she did not hesitate. The picture she took as my father and I embraced brings tears to my eyes every time I look at it. All I can say is that anyone would be surely blessed to have their celebration captured by Cheri Lynn - her work is truly timeless and priceless."
Thanks Cheri - We love you! A Note to the Bride and Groom I can't begin to tell you what a treat it was to photograph your wedding. The tragedy of Sept 11th necessitated a few adjustments to your plans and the schedules of your guests, but before the end of your celebration the arrival of your dad made the day complete. I am so happy that I was able to capture that reunion for you, I wouldn't have missed it for the world. Thank you for allowing me to showcase my creativity and take advantage of the amazing photo opportunities that the setting provided. The photos of you on the bluff are to this day some of my favorites. A gorgeous sunset for a gorgeous couple! Thumbnail Images
