Presenting Craig & Mickie Valente
The elegance of the Phoenician hotel in Scottsdale Arizona provided the backdrop for the marriage of Craig and Mickie Valente on January 19, 2001. Please click here to read my journal entry for that wonderful weekend.
The Ceremony When the music started and time came for everyone to take their places a hush drew over the guests as the doors opened and Mickie appeared on the arm of her son, Brian. Craig looked at his bride with such love and admiration, that it brought tears to everyone's eyes. The ceremony was beautiful, and I was able to capture each moment and many of the guest's emotions on film. The Reception The sun was now setting and it cast an amazing glow on Camelback mountain. I grabbed the happy couple for a few photos before nightfall. The sunset that evening was simply breathtaking. The reception was at Mary Elaine's on the fifth floor of the Phoenician hotel with grand views of the city and mountainside. When I walked in the room everyone was at the window, silent and captivated by the beauty. A Special Note from the Valente's "Cheri, you were so professional in every aspect of doing your job. Your creativity and imagination are way above expectations. You made our day the most memorable day of our lives. Whenever we hear of anyone getting married, we will definitely recommend you as the photographer. You are a real asset to any wedding performed... ... got the photos this afternoon; ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Excited?? That's an understatement. They made us re-live the whole weekend. You did such a great job. It's going to be hard to choose, they're all so gorgeous.

The location was even more beautiful than you described and you were both stunning. The emotion displayed at your wedding was unanimous, the love you share deeply touched each person in attendance.
