About Cathy Lander-Goldberg
Cathy is a portrait photographer, educator, social worker and author. She is the photographer/curator for Wise Women . . . Resilient Lives, The Resilient Souls Project, the director of Photo Explorations workshops and author of the Photo Explorations workbook. Her work is influenced by her bachelor’s degree in photo-journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia as well as her master’s degree in social work from Washington University. She utilizes her background to help put portrait subjects at ease and provide an environment for workshop participants to tell their stories through images and writing. Cathy’s photos have appeared in American Photo Magazine, Parade Magazine, National Geographic Kids Magazine, St. Louis Magazine and TV Guide as well as numerous textbooks and corporate publications/websites.
